Age 18+

Join Jules Webster and Bethany Urbanski of TSA fame for a morning of Yoga, flower arranging, and meditative drawing. In this course, Bethany will guide us through a 45 minute yoga practice focusing on posture and functional movement. In the second part of class, Jules will guide participants through making a simple arrangement of flowers cut from The Portal garden display in the gallery and finally, how to create a simple line drawing that captures the essence of the arrangement.

No previous yoga, flower arranging, or drawing experience is expected or required. The goal of this class is to expose participants to three soothing and low stress activities that can calm the nervous system, bring joy, and increase quality of life. Students will leave with a small flower arrangement, a re-usable floral pin cushion (flower frog) and simple flower container, and a handful of small meditative line drawings as a record of their experience.

Please bring your own yoga mat, yoga blocks (if you have them), towel, or small blanket to participate. All other art supplies and floral materials are provided.Bethany will provide some and blocks and mats to borrow if you do not have one.
