Where the community meets Toledo School for the Arts
Founded in 1999, Toledo School for the arts is a public community school offering a rigorous academic and arts education for students grade 6-12. In 2023 we opened The Portal, a unique space that offers us the oppurtunity to connect with the greater-Toledo community.
The Portal also serves as our largest investment in our arts entrepreneuship; the series of micro-enterprises that contribute to the continued selfsustainability of TSA.
ARTS ENTREPRENEURSHIP
As a public community school, we are tuition free and donation dependent. Our arts entrepreneurship not only serves as a way to financially support the school, it also offers our students paid opportunities to gain real life employment and arts experience.
Every dollar spent on space rentals, hired music ensembles, event tickets, or merchandise in our ShopTSA store goes directly to supporting the school and it’s endeavors.
